This fall you’re invited to dive deep into the scriptures with us. Together we’ll be reading a portion of the New Testament each week using the schedule on the back of this bookmark. Pastor Nate will be preaching on these readings Sunday mornings and will be leading a small group discussion to explore together what we are hearing from God in our reading on Sunday evenings at 6:30.
As you read, keep in mind the questions listed below as they will guide our discussions together. And remember to open and close your reading with prayer – that the Spirit will speak to you as you read God’s Word.
Name something you noticed for the first time.
Was there a word or phrase that jumped out at you?
What questions did you have?
Was there anything that bothered you?
What did you learn about loving God?
What did you learn about loving others?
Don’t let this reading plan overwhelm you. This averages just over 9 chapters a week: that’s less than two chapters/day, 5 out of 7 days a week. This can be done and can yield good fruit in your life with God. And if you miss a few days, don’t give up. We are doing this TOGETHER!
